Loughborough School helping out at Bagsu Nag School
In 2006, the Bagsu Nag School in Dharamsala requested the building of an additional room at their School. The pupils and staff require a small kitchen to prepare the lunch time meals for the pupils, Currently the pupils classrooms are disrupted on a daily basis and the lunch time food is prepared amongst the desks and chairs in the classroom. Loughborough Grammar School fundraised £1000 to fund the entirety of this project. During a visit to the school in October 2006, Cheryl Frost and the children from Loughborough enjoyed half a day at the School and either led the pupils in art or sport activities or whitewashed one of the classroom walls and outside building. At the end of the trip Loughborough Grammar School presented the School with art materials and sports equipment.
